Horner Insurance Services, Inc. (HIS) was founded by Gene Horner, Jr. in January of 2000.  Since the company's inception, he has been President and Chief Executive Officer.

Helen Easley, a long time friend and renowned transportation insurance specialist, along with Betty Blasdel helped Gene launch the company.  They were joined shortly thereafter by Angie Burns, Assistant Vice-President, Pam Swanson, Executive Vice-President, Gene Horner, III, Secretary/Treasurer, and Katie Horner Luton, Vice-President.  Today, HIS, with its 12 (and growing) employees, is a very successful and widely recognized general agency specializing in transportation insurance.
